Current position: Master's of Divinity Student at Duke University and and Assistant Director of Community Building and Advising at the UNC-Charlotte


Aaron Hooker received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the University of Connecticut in May 2021. He later graduated from the University of Maryland with his Master of Education in Student Affairs, Higher Education, and International Education Policy in May 2023. Aaron took a gap year and worked as the Hartford/Storrs program coordinator for UConn’s Connecticut Collegiate Awareness and Preparation program. He served a total of 100 students between 3 local high schools and was responsible for creating a year-round curriculum that focused on academic preparation/success, tutoring, experiential learning opportunities, and much more.

He is currently pursuing a Master’s of Divinity at Duke University, and serving as the Assistant Director of Community Building and Advising at the University of North Carolina- Charlotte. In this role, he advises the University Honors Program students on their co-curricular experiences, supports UHP networking groups, and teaches for the Honors College.
